Patients after epidural stimulation surgery are referred from Verita Neuro for advanced neurorehabilitation and mapping to our Clinic. Denisz Kovacs was trained for mapping in Thailand and working not only as physiotherapist here at the Clinic, but also as mapping specialist.
Denisz studied at the University of Szeged in Hungary and graduated as a physiotherapist. During his academic study, he actively participated in scientific and technological research and student conferences in Hungary and abroad. After graduation, he gained professional experience in robotics for neurorehabilitation. Since 2018, he has worked with patients with neurological conditions, using robotic based therapies as well as conventional-activity based therapies. His current role in Budapest Hungary is at our Clinic, where he works with patients and he will continue to work remotely for Verita Neuro as a ‘Mobile Mapping Expert’. He frequently attends courses around neurorehabilitation, on topics such as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and gait analysis. As well as working with patients, he is also a lecturer of neurology for physiotherapists.
